Anna Reiff graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, then went on to pursue a Masters of Nursing degree from Vanderbilt in order to become a nurse practitioner. She specialized in Psychiatry/Mental Health and is now working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a community mental health center in Nashville, TN called Mental Health Cooperative. MHC is a provider of medication management, case management and counseling services to low income individuals struggling with a mental illness.
In a typical day, Anna will see 10-18 patients for appointments and adjust psychiatric medications as needed for patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and co-occurring substance use disorders. She enjoys working as part of an interdisciplinary team composed of therapists, case managers, and other nurses.
