EIGHTH GRADE PREVIEW DAY!

On Thursday, November 9th, 2023, WCHS will be hosting 

the annual 8th Grade Preview Day.

This day has been built to give 8th graders an all inclusive experience to 9th grade. They will spend half a day at Westside with other 8th graders meeting teachers and receiving short introductions to classes they may see as a freshman. In addition to these things, they will meet the Head of School, the Athletic Director, and receive a preview into art, music, drama, special interest clubs, and student council.

Class will start at 8:50 am and the 8th graders will be released by 12:00 pm.

I hope you will register your student to join us on this special day. We are excited to spend time with your students and show them the Westside Experience. 

We are only able to accommodate 30 students in 8th grader this year. Complete the form below to register and reserve your spot now.

We would like to invite you back later in the evening on the 9th to one of the year's biggest events - Powderpuff. The ceremony will start at 6:30pm and kickoff will be at 7pm. We will have a half-time show, cheerleaders, and concessions! Be sure to bring layers in case it gets cold.
