AP World History is divided into six time periods, and students recently finished Period 2. Each group designed an “Autopsy of an Empire” on Mayan, Gupta, Mauyran, Hellenistic, Qin / Han China, Roman and Greek-city state cultures.
Each body part represented a different aspect of the Empire. For example, the head was the significant leaders and major accomplishments of the given empire. All the way down the feet were the trade routes, currencies, animal transport and goods traded.
