Letter from Mr. John Hynes

Dear Westside Christian Family:

I continue to be humbled to serve as your Head of School, and with each passing day, I am in awe of the special blessings the Lord has bestowed upon this amazing institution. In the past year, this school has continued to provide an outstanding academic and discipleship experience to its students; despite the many obstacles in our way.  As we approach the close of 2020, I wish to ask all Westside Christian families to help us continue this success by contributing to the school as you feel led.

At this unique time in our school’s 39-year history, there are specific needs that we would like to address through our All Community Giving Campaign.  Here is a brief list of the areas of most need:
  • Financial assistance to families who are experiencing strain during this time.  (One generous donor has already committed over 30k towards this effort, much more is needed).
  • Increased security of the facility and its perimeter.
  • Enhanced technology features and training to optimize the delivery of quality education during the pandemic.
Certainly there are other areas of need within the school, but for now, these three are the most pressing.  Our goal is to raise a minimum of $150,000.00 by the close of 2020.

Please consider blessing Westside with a gift of any amount towards this goal.

Gifts can be simply dropped off in an envelope at the front desk of the school, or can be offered online by following the QR code to the right. You can also visit our secure giving website at www.wchsonline.org/giving.

Of course, if you would prefer to meet and discuss in person what our needs are, or would like to strategize other forms of giving, I am available at any time to discuss these opportunities further.  As always, we thank you for the most cherished gift of all, your commitment to and prayers for our school.

Many Blessings,
John Hynes
