COVID-19 Scholarship Fund
Westside Christian High School staff, board, and faculty have been praying alongside you during this unprecedented time. As a community, we are so grateful for the preparedness of our teachers and administrative team to continue providing exceptional education with long-term Digital Learning Days. We have been encouraged by our families and students, as we continue to come together during this time in virtual classrooms and chapels. While we continually work to refine our digital learning, most of the feedback we received was positive about the quality of engagement.
“Each of my kids’ teachers (supported by a myriad of staff) has really stepped up in a huge way to not merely get through this term, but to really provide an exceptional education. Westside’s ability to morph into a digital environment has been exemplary. I believe that every single staff member and teacher has gone above and beyond to make this happen. Such an amazing group of humans!” Stacey Mako, WCHS Parent
The sense of community that makes Westside Christian special has continued with the weekly chapels, focus groups, collaborative learning, and the personal touch of our teachers.
Now more than ever, as several of those within our community are faced with financial uncertainty due to COVID-19, the Westside Christian High School family would like to support those who need financial aid and tuition assistance for the 2020-2021 academic year.
You may be surprised to learn that 50% of current Westside Christian students receive financial assistance. In the 2019-2020 school year, $364,792 was provided to Westside students. As the end of the school year approaches our goal is to raise $70,000 to help provide financial assistance to those families whose financial situations have changed due to Covid-19. Westside Christian High School strives to keep our tuition affordable for all students while maintaining exceptional education.
We are already 10% of our fundraising goal. Would you consider donating to support Westside Christian High School’s Financial Aid Fund? Your gift could be the difference for a student to attend in Fall 2020.
