Rose Elizabeth Langham
August 29, 1982 – February 15, 2010
Rose E. Langham (Becker), age 27, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010. She died at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, with her loving husband by her side. Although her life was devastatingly short, she shared a lifetime of happiness and memories with those she loved.
Rose was born August 29, 1982, in Portland Oregon. She was a graduate of Westside Christian High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Oklahoma Christian University, where she graduated with a degree in organizational communications.
She met her husband, Justin Langham, during the first week of college in 2000. They were married in Maui, Hawaii, in May 2002. In 2007, Justin joined the Air Force, which led them to their home near Eglin Air Force Base in Valparaiso, Florida.
Mostly, Rose will be remembered for the beautiful way she saw life, and how she shared her love and joy with everyone she met. She was a culinary guru, a gifted artist, expert shopper, a loving wife, sister and daughter, but most importantly a devoted follower of Christ.
Rose was a talented artist, and shared this gift with others through her own craft business. She designed antique windows and wall lettering for nurseries, the envied gift at every baby shower.
At the time of her death, Rose attended and was actively involved at Niceville Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School and helped organize many events, including Vacation Bible School and the Historical Society Luncheon.
She leaves her love and passion to live on in her family: husband, Justin Langham of Valparaiso, Florida; Chihuahua Percy; parents, Patty and Jordan Hutchins of Portland, Oregon; siblings Lia Becker, Chris Hutchins, Mandi Hutchins, Eddie Becker, Bobby Becker and Emily Becker; grandparents, George and Ann Ray, Eileen Mill, Marty Becker, Miles and Marva Hutchins; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rose was preceded in death by her grandmother Mary Becker.
