Administration and Office Support

Tana Allori began working at the front desk this year. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology/Health from Western Oregon University and a Master's degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix. Mrs. Allori's previous experience includes teaching online undergraduate classes, working as an Academic Advisor for college students, operations and facilities management, and working as alternative education support for middle school and high school students.
Mrs. Allori recently celebrated her 20-year anniversary with her husband, and they have two children, ages 15 and 13. She loves spending time with her family and their dog Lulu, reading, hiking and traveling.

Scott Ball has worked at WCHS since 1995. He primarily taught math classes for the first 6 years at Westside but has served as the Academic Counselor since 2001. He's also coached Cross Country and Track & Field here since 2000. He received a Bachelors of Science in Business and a Bachelors of Arts in Social Studies Education from George Fox College in 1986. He later earned a Masters of Arts in School Counseling from George Fox University in 2006.
Mr. Ball has been married to Heidi since 1986 and they have 3 children who graduated from Westside in 2008 (Laurel), 2011 (David), and 2014 (Morgan). They’ll be welcoming grandchild #7 around the first of October and #8 early next April.

Tanya Chappelle has worked in fundraising at Westside since 2024. She received her Bachelor's in Politics and Spanish and has her MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Statistics. Mrs. Chappelle has a heart for students who want to pursue their education, while putting Jesus at the front.
Mrs. Chappelle is married to Jonathan, and together they have three children—two Westside graduates and one member of the Class of 2027. She loves to spend her time outdoors - walking, at the beach or hanging with her husband and kids. Mrs. Chappelle is the Donor Relations Engagement Officer at Westside and acts as an advisor to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Westside.

Keri Donelson is serving as Dean of Students at Westside Christian High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Communication from George Fox University and has a Master’s of Higher Education and Student Affairs from University of Portland. Mrs. Donelson loves supporting students as they step into who God is calling them to be.
Mrs. Donelson is married to Paul, and they have one child, Jesse! She loves baking, cooking, crocheting, gardening, and reading. On the weekend she can be found exploring the Oregon Zoo or playing in a new park with her family.

Shelly Hawkins joined the front desk team at Westside in 2022. Her favorite part of the job is simple—connecting with students. She also enjoys coordinating shadow days for prospective students and helping families feel welcome on campus. Shelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Western Oregon University. Before coming to Westside, she spent over a decade in education, serving in a variety of admissions and office support roles across elementary schools and universities.
Outside of school, Shelly enjoys walking with friends and traveling with her family. At home, she’s the proud wrangler of an energetic Cavapoo puppy and a flock of fluffy Silkie chickens—who are quite certain they run the household.

Jason Housley has joined the administrative team in the position of Director of Admissions. Jason has many years of experience in advancement and development and will be a huge asset to us as we develop space and programs for all these new students.
Originally from Prineville, Oregon, Jason moved to Portland where he would find his wife of 17 years. Jason is inspired daily by his wife, Amanda, and their three children; 18-year-old Brady, 15 year-old Aaden, and 11-year-old daughter, Addie-Mae. His free time is spent with family, camping, working on the property, listening to music or up on the mountain snowboarding.
This is Jason’s 12th year in Christian education. Most recently, Jason served as Director of Development at Columbia Christian Schools for 4 years. He worked with branding, marketing, alumni relations, and donor development. Jason began his time at Columbia as the Athletic Director and served in this role for 5 years. Together, in all 9 years at Columbia, Jason developed strategic ways of developing relationships that will benefit the community for many years.

Beth Hust began at Westside in the Fall of 2023 as the front office manager. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University and her MBA from DeVry University. Ms. Hust's experience includes working at World Vision as a Business Analyst and, most recently, as the Executive Assistant for Teen Reach.
Ms. Hust has two daughters. The oldest is Westside class of 2025, and the youngest will be class of 2029. She loves spending time gardening, reading and traveling.

Josh Johnson brings over 20 years of operations experience across both the private and public sectors, including building infrastructure for startup businesses, managing IT project releases for large corporations, and providing operational oversight for churches and nonprofits. He values a head-and-heart approach to ministry, emphasizing clear communication, continuous improvement, collaboration, and, above all, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's leading.
Josh has been married to his wife Cheryl for 19 years, and they have two children, Maddison and Judah. He enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, cooking, and traveling. Josh currently serves as the Director of Operations for WCHS.

Inna Kebbe joined WCHS at the start of 2023 as the Librarian/Lunch Coordinator. She holds a BA in General Science with a minor in Psychology from Portland State University.
Mrs. Kebbe is married to Michael and has two middle school aged children, Jordyn and Eli. In her free time, Mrs. Kebbe enjoys hiking, playing tennis and trying new restaurants with friends and family.

Christina Larrechea has served as the Assistant Principal of Academics at Westside Christian High School since 2024. She previously taught in K–12 public schools for 26 years and worked as adjunct faculty in the Teacher Education program at Fresno Pacific University. Mrs. Larrechea, or Mrs. L as the students call me, holds a double Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teacher Library Science and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education at George Fox University, with a focus on Biblical Worldview Integration. After many years in public education, she felt called to transition into Christian education to better support her own children and serve students in a Christ-centered environment.
She and her husband, Jay, recently celebrated 27 years of marriage and have two daughters, one a junior at Westside and the other in middle school. Mrs. L enjoys walking, listening to books and podcasts, building Legos, personal Bible study and traveling—especially her family’s summer RV trips, which have taken them to 37 states so far.

Maddie Pringle ('19) is our Director of Student Life, Director of Communication & Marketing, and Theatre Director. She graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies from Portland State University. Ms. Pringle has a deep passion for Westside and its students.
Ms. Pringle is the daughter of Westside alumni and is an alumnus herself. In her free time, Ms. Pringle loves to travel, go to concerts, and play with her dogs. She is also passionate about theatre education and the arts.

Dr. Torode has been in Christian education for twenty-two years. Most of those years were spent at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California. He started teaching art and photography in the classroom in 2002, where he taught for seven years. After earning his Master's in Education from San Jose State University, he transitioned into an administrative role. Four years later, he served as Head of School at Los Gatos Christian School and then returned to Valley Christian for three more years as an Academic Counselor/Administrator.
In the summer of 2023, Dr. Torode joined Westside Christian as the Assistant Principal of Academics and Campus Ministry, and was asked to be the Interim Head of School in March 2024, and was appointed Head of School in January 2025. He enjoys as much time as possible with his three children and three grandchildren. He also enjoys camping, fishing, and a good road trip. "

Caleb has been at Westside Christian High School since June, 2025. He spent his young years as a multi-sport athlete and competed at George Fox University, where he got his bachelor's in Business Management. He met his wife, Maria at GFU and they moved together to Germany in 2017 to serve, teach, and coach at Black Forest Academy. Caleb spent five years as BFA's Athletic Director and eight years as the Track and Field coach, and is excited to now lead the WCHS Athletic Department. Caleb loves spending all of his free time with his wife and three children: Margot, Selah, and Josiah.

Mrs. Tyner has been the Director of Finance at Westside Christian High School since August 2012. She has a BS in Accounting from Colorado Christian University. Prior to coming to Westside Christian, Mrs. Tyner was a staff accountant in a local public accounting firm. She enjoys working with the people, atmosphere, and students at Westside Christian High School.
Mrs. Tyner is married to her husband, Richard. They have four adult children. She enjoys hosting gatherings at home, biking, skiing and playing games with family and friends. Mrs. Tyner and her husband enjoy serving the youth at Westside Christian.

Christian Bitar has taught AP Chemistry & General Chemistry at Westside Christian since the fall of 2024. Mr. Bitar earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Master of Education at Regis University. Moreover, Christian enjoys the community at Westside and walking with students in the study of chemistry.
Mr. Bitar is married to Emily. They have two daughters: Hailey (3) & Julia (7 months). In his free time, Christian enjoys strength training, jiu-jitsu, and spending time with his wife and daughters.

Wendy Collins has taught Digital Arts, Photography and Yearbook at Westside Christian since 2021. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Portland State University. Mrs. Collins loves helping students discover their God-given creativity through design and photography.
Mrs. Collins is married to Brad Montplaisir and they have two kids, Kian and Lily. She loves spending time outdoors hiking and paddleboarding, learning languages, and traveling. Mrs. Collins really enjoys seeing the yearbook come together each year.

Brittney Crary is in her second year at Westside, but has a long history here as her two brothers and many extended family/friends are alumni. She discovered her passion for Spanish in high school, taking all 5 years that were offered. She received a Bachelor's in Spanish from Linfield College, and went on to get her Master's in Education at George Fox University. She learned almost all she knows in Costa Rica when she spent a year living there. She is so excited to be at Westside and pass along her passion for the language, people, and culture to her students.
Mrs. Crary is married and has a son and daughter who are her world. They attend West Hills Christian School and love it! As a family, they love to play games, see movies, ride bikes, and just be with family/friends.

Brenda Davisson graduated from the University of Idaho in 2014 and has been teaching middle school and high school English for 11 years. She recently spent 3 years overseas in Indonesia teaching International Baccalaureate curriculum at a Christian international school. Currently, she is working on her master's degree in School Counseling.

Greg Dueker has taught at Westside Christian High School since the fall of 2025. He received his Bachelor’s in Christian Ministries from George Fox University and earned both a Master’s and Doctoral degree from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. He has over 30 years of pastoral experience and over 20 years of teaching in a variety of contexts, most recently on the faculty of Multnomah Biblical Seminary. He is passionate about teaching the Bible as a way to experience Christ.
Dr. Dueker is married to Vikki, and they have two adult children (Hannah and Michael) who also live in the area. He enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports, reading, and several types of writing. Over the years, he has published over 800 blog articles. As a longtime Seattle Mariner fan, Dr. Dueker has a well-developed theology of suffering.

Michelle Forbes has taught AP US History, US History, and PE at Westside Christian High School since 2022. Before that she taught IB history, US history, and PE at South Salem HS and Gyeonggi Suwon International School in South Korea. She received her Bachelor's in History and Political Science from George Fox University and her Master's in Teaching from Willamette University. Miss Forbes loves being at Westside and helping students develop their critical thinking and writing skills.
Miss Forbes has a son named Joshua and they live in Newberg. She loves spending time on the river, wakeboarding, skiing, reading, and being with family as well as traveling, hiking, and exploring national parks. Miss Forbes has coached track at Westside, and has coached volleyball and track at other schools including George Fox.

Will Fox is in his sixteenth year of teaching choirs, bands, and worship teams at Westside Christian. His choirs and bands have captured numerous Oregon state championships, as well as other festivals. Mr. Fox is also an Associate Director with Pacific Youth Choir and is the Artistic Director of the SenateAires barbershop chorus in Salem. Mr. Fox has a Master of Divinity degree from Abilene Christian University, as well as undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Counseling Education from Columbia Christian College.
Mr. Fox has been married to Lynn for 38 years, and they have two adult children, Bryce and Macy, a daughter-in-law, Molly, and a couple of dogs, Finn and Simba.

Lindsey has seven years of experience teaching Art K-12. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and her Master's Degree in Teaching from George Fox University. She is a professional ceramics teacher and owns a ceramics studio offering private lessons for all ages. She has served as a youth leader with Sunset Youth and CIY, middle school, and high school, and enjoys the fun of creating Art with her students at Westside.
Lindsey has two amazing teenage sons and enjoys hiking, yoga, weight training, making wheel-thrown ceramics, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

This will be Anna Hovey's first year at Westside Christian High School, teaching Algebra I and Geometry. She received her Bachelor's in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Whitworth University. Ms Hovey is excited to guide students as they learn how to worship Jesus in the classroom, and discover the mysterious connections between learning mathematics and knowing God.
Ms. Hovey loves coffee, doing voice impressions, hiking, listening to good stories, studying the Bible, and spending time in fellowship with church family and friends.

Mr. Hudson received his B.S. in Marine Biology and Chemistry from The University of Oregon and his Master’s in Education from Portland State University. He has over 16 years of teaching hands-on lab based STEM education, from California to Washington. Prior to teaching, he was a professional whitewater kayaker, Director of Animal Husbandry at Central Coast Aquarium, the salmon “head hunter” for Pacific States Marine Fishery Commission, and an environmental educator.
Mr. Hudson has loved the many adventures his life has provided; however, his favorite role is spending time with his five-year-old son, which includes building Legos, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and laughing at “dada”. He looks forward to being a positive contributor to the WCHS community!

For over 30 years, Willy Hughes has either been in the classroom, behind the pulpit, or on the tennis court guiding the next generation toward adulthood. He has a Bachelors from Linfield (Mathematics), Masters from Southwestern Baptist (Theology) and Oregon State (Mathematics Education), and a Doctorate from Gordon-Conwell (Adolescent Development in a Postmodern Context within a Biblical Perspective).
His wife, Kayla, is the owner and operator of Music Together Resonate, and they are raising two teenagers, MaryBeth and H. He spends his time with MaryBeth discussing all things Stranger, walking in the shadow of H, and taking car rides through the countryside with his wife. At Westside, Dr. Hughes is the Mathematics department chair, teaches a variety of math courses, serves as a freshman class representative, and participates on the Spiritual Life Team.

Mr. Lindsley has taught Bible at Westside Christian High School since 2018. He has a B.S. in Bible and Youth Ministry from Multnomah University, Master of Divinity in Theological Studies from Multnomah Seminary and a Master of Theology from Multnomah Seminary. Mr. Lindsley worked for 10 years as a Middle and High School Youth pastor in Vancouver, Washington. He loves the community at Westside Christian and is grateful for the privilege of walking through the story of God's Word with students as they begin to see how their lives fit into God's great story.

Laura Lothrop has been teaching English at Westside Christian since 2023. She studied fiction and creative writing at Seattle Pacific University and then went on to George Fox, where she earned her Master's in Teaching. Ms. Lothrop loves reading dystopian novels, essays, and historical fiction with students, asking them to question the authorities of this world while honoring Jesus as the highest authority in their lives.
Ms. Lothrop grew up in Monroe, WA, and has lived in Portland since 2020. She can be found at Mt. Tabor on the weekend or swimming and playing pickleball at Sellwood Park with friends. Her dream is to teach students not to rely on AI and one day meet Robert Pattinson.

Ms. Nottle holds a B.A. in Political Science with a Government Emphasis, a Master's in Education with a Teaching and Curriculum Emphasis, and is currently pursuing a second Master's degree in American History at Liberty University. She has a single-subject Clear California Teaching Credential with a CLAD emphasis and an ACSI Professional Teacher Credential. Ms. Nottle has over two decades of educational experience in both private and public schooling.
She loves to read, learn, eat, and enjoy helping students achieve their highest potential by becoming life-long learners, followers of Jesus, and knowledgeable citizens of America.

Mrs. Petrisor has taught English at Westside since 2021. She received her Bachelor's in English from PSU and has a Master's in Teaching from George Fox University. Mrs. Petrisor loves the students at Westside and loves engaging them in deep discussions on classic and contemporary literature. She hopes to inspire a love of reading, writing, and learning.
Mrs. Petrisor is married to Josh Petrisor and has a four year old son named Damien. She loves spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, movies, traveling, and much more.

Denise Rose has taught at Westside since 1984. She has taught both French and History, but is currently teaching World History, AP World History and AP European History. She graduated from Oregon State University and is an avid Beaver fan.
Mrs. Rose is married to Mark and has two adult children, Emily and Michael, who graduated from Westside and Oregon State University. She also has two granddaughters who are the joy of her life. She loves spending time with family and friends."

Cody Schuman is Chaplain of the Nest and teaches Life Skills. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Liberty University and her Master's of Divinity from Western Seminary. She is a Board Certified Trauma Chaplain and earned her certification in Medical Ethics from Oregon Health & Sciences University in partnership with Portland State University. She is a former Men's Manager at Nordstrom, Chaplain at OHSU & Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Teacher/Speaker. Cody is passionate about preparing students for their adult selves on a foundation of Christian faith and character development.
Cody has been married to the love of her life for 17 years. They share have four kids enrolled at West Hills Christian School and three super furry family pets.

Mr. Teters is starting his second year at Westside Christian High School. He has over 25 years of teaching experience both in the Portland area and at international schools. He graduated from Portland State University with a degree in mathematics and completed his Masters in Educational Technology at Fort Hays State University.
He and his wife, Karen, have three adult children and two grandsons. Mr. Teters enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, biking, swimming and running.

Jake Van Wickle has taught in the science department at Westside Christian High School since 2023. He received his Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and has a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life West Chiropractic College. He is also in his third year coaching the Boys Volleyball team, and is excited to continue building the program as the sport continues to grow in the state of Oregon. Dr. Van Wickle not only has a passion for helping students think scientifically in order to understand the world that God has made, but also to guide them as they grow into the amazing people that God has created them to be.
Dr. Van Wickle is married to Rachel, and they have two kids, Henry and Isla. The whole family loves to indoor rock climb and go on outdoor adventures, particularly Hood River or the Oregon Coast.

Jason Washburn has taught Engineering at Westside since 2021. Mr. Washburn never wanted to be a teacher, but God had other plans. He previously taught at Cor Deo Christian Academy, and holds Bachelor's degrees in Economic and Information Technology. He loves growing the engineering program, maintaining and developing the new Eagle Engineering Center, and helping with IT.
Mr. Washburn and his wife, Heather (a NICU nurse), have a 5 year old, Mikey, who loves to talk and build things and will be starting Kindergarten this Fall. You may even see Mikey (who the students call mini-Washburn) hanging around campus asking questions of all the STEM teachers. If Mr. Washburn had time for hobbies/interests, he would enjoy working out, playing board games and reading books.

Scott Wright has taught social studies at WCHS since it was founded in 1981, and taught at two public schools before that. He now teaches only Government and Economics. Mr. Wright has a B.A. from DePauw University in History and an M.A. from Ohio University in History. He has an Oregon teaching certificate.
Mr. Wright is a widower with two adult children who also live in Beaverton. He likes college football, golf, games, and reading.
