3.  Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.

Westside Christian High School is seeking an experienced Lead Custodian (Full Time 40 hrs/wk with Benefits), AND a Part Time Custodian (20-23hrs/wk).  The custodial department provides a clean, safe environment for daily school operations and special events. The custodial staff are an important part of the team who will work with maintenance, clean, and care for the facility as alongside people and high school students. It is important to understand and embrace the school’s mission of intentional discipleship of our high school students by modeling a strong work ethic with a servant’s heart. The successful candidates for these positions will be required to pass a pre-employment screening.

Preferred Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Equivalent of high school education. Two years of job relevant experience (Lead Custodian)/ 6 months of job related experience PT Custodian.
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated, teachable, with a servant’s heart.
  • The ability to initiate, organize, complete, and follow up on applicable project work. Able to creatively problem solve.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Identify safety/security concerns. Report concerns to the supervisor.
  • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.

Makes grades available to Webclassroom on a weekly basis.

Grades for each marking period are completed by the dates set by the Registrar.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1.  The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
2.  A valid Teacher's Certificate if applicable to subject area (specific grade level and area endorsements preferred).
3.  Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.

4. Evidence of successful working relationships within a “team” setting.

5. Demonstration of positive working relationships with high school-aged students.
6. An evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle is consistent with the school’s mission, including a signed agreement with the WCHS Statement of Faith.
