We want you to experience WCHS for yourself. We think one of the best ways for a prospective student to learn what it is like to be a student at Westside is to visit.

Shadow Visit
Students interested in applying to grades 9–12 are invited to schedule a Shadow Visit before or after submitting an application.

You will connect with students and faculty, participate in classes, join community times, and have lunch in the Commons. (Our treat!)

Visits begin at 8:50 a.m. and end at 3:10 p.m.

8th Grade Preview Day

On Thursday, November 9th WCHS will be hosting the annual 8th Grade Preview Day.

This day has been built to give 8th graders an all inclusive experience to 9th grade. They will spend half a day at Westside with other 8th graders meeting teachers and receiving short introductions to classes they may see as a freshman. In addition to these things, they will meet the Head of School, the Athletic Director, and receive a preview into art, music, drama, special interest clubs, and student council.

Class will start at 8:50 am and the 8th graders will be released by 12:00 pm. 

I hope you will register your student to join us on this special day. We are excited to spend time with your students and show them the Westside Experience.
