The Eagles clinched the State Championship Boys Basketball title with a 65-47 victory over Pleasant Hill High School on March 8th, 2025, thanks to the outstanding performances of its talented roster of student-athletes.
Leading the charge was senior guard Jack Leland, who delivered a game-high 18 points. 5 assists, and 5 steals earning the title of 1st Team All-State. The Eagles were successful all season long with unselfish play, resilience, and a shared commitment to excellence. The entire team’s performance exemplified the spirit of WCHS athletics.
Congratulations to the 2025 OSAA State Champions!

Westside Cheer has seen great success in this year's competitive cheerleading. In addition to Competition Cheer, Westside offers Sideline Cheer.
Eagles Focus on . . .
Westside Christian aims to provide as many opportunities for students to participate in athletics as possible. With a focus on intentional discipleship within our athletic programs, our students are provided a well-rounded athletic experience.
“Westside allowed [our son] to pursue his passion for basketball. Winning a state championship this past season—a dream come true for him. Coaches emphasized not just winning, but teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.” ~ WCHS Parent
